Ingredients:
Minced Chicken - 1/2 kg, washed and drained
Onions - 2, finely chopped
Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
Green peas - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Curd - 2 - 3 tbsp
Garam masala Powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 3 tbsps
Coriander leaves for garnish
Method:
- Heat OIl in a medium non-stick pan, Add onions and sautee well until it turns pinkish.,
- Add Ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes off.
- Now add garam masala powder and stir well and add the chopped tomatoes and mix well and close it with a lid and keep the flame in medium.
- Once the tomatoes turn mushy add all the spice powders [Red chilli, turmeric, cumin & coriander powder] stir, add green peas, Curd and combine everything together.
- Now add the minced chicken, salt to taste and give it a good mix and close the pan with lid and allow it to simmer in it's own juices.
- Once cooked, On high flame keep stirring the kheema for few seconds, and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander and serve with roti, naan or pulao.
The leftover curry tastes amazing when used as a stuffing for sandwiches next day! I love it that way too.. =)
